As one of the chief architects of the Environmental Legacy Fund, Jon fought to preserve and replenish open space throughout the Town of North Hempstead. While serving in the previous administration, Jon was responsible for initiating the clean-up of Sheets Creek in Manhasset Bay — removing over 200 tons of debris from the bay. Jon's recent efforts in regard to brownfield assessment and remediation have had a positive environmental and economic impact on throughput the Town.
