Labor Unions Endorse Kaiman for Supervisor

Kaiman's strong voice for working men and women make him best suited for the job as North Hempstead Supervisor said two major labor unions recently. The Long Island Federation of Labor (AFL-CIO), and Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW both announced their support to re-elect Jon Kaiman for North Hempstead Supervisor. Said Supervisor Kaiman, "Strong unions are essential to maintaining a strong middle class as well as to ensure economic prosperity in North Hempstead and throughout our Country"

Sierra Club of Long Island Endorses Kaiman for Town Supervisor

Citing the fact that Jon Kaiman has made the "protection of the environment a priority," and that Kaiman represents "the best that Long Island has to offer" on environmental leadership, the Sierra Club of Long Island - a branch of the largest environmental organization in the United States since its founding in 1892 - have announced their endorsement of Jon Kaiman for the position of North Hempstead Supervisor.

North Hempstead Democratic Headquarters Opening Reception

Please join us as the North Hempstead Democratic Committee kicks off the 2011 campaign at our headquarters grand opening and candidate reception.  The event takes place Sunday, September 18 at 7:30 PM at 169 Middle Neck road in Great Neck.  There will be free refreshments and an opportunity to meet the new candidates.

North Hempstead Retains Historically-High Credit Rating

Affirming Supervisor Jon Kaiman’s assertion in his January State of the Town Address that North Hempstead’s “fiscal situation is solid, storm ready, and stable,” the financial industry’s top municipal credit rating agency has retained the town’s historically-high bond rating.
